In January 2020, the Danners joined the Moffett Road Assembly of God family as Lead Pastors. Leading the church through an unprecedented time in our world’s history, God used them both to care for the city of Mobile and our church family. It was during this season that God began to download a vision that would not only reshape the face of our church but also plant us firmly into the heart of our great city—the City of Refuge. In this time, God gave Pastors Eric and Jackie the vision that would define our purpose as we stepped into the post-pandemic world. Through their leadership and God’s direction, our church became Refuge Church—a place of refuge that points people to the God of Refuge.

Together, they bring over 30 years of combined experience serving God’s people full-time. They have ministered as Youth Pastors, Campus Pastors, and Lead Pastors in both Alabama and Florida. But their reach extends far beyond—they lead missions projects, speak at youth camps, and share the Gospel around the world.
